We at The Renegade Farmer enjoy telling stories, and we enjoy hearing them, as well! While we like to talk about farming of all sorts, we realize that the magnitude and scope of farming comes from everywhere, and so--we decided to let YOU in on the action!
Farmhouse Festival Fridays is a celebration of YOUR life, and a chance for you to include your blogs and stories for The Renegade mayhem! What's going on in your "Farmhouse?" We'd love to know!
EVERY FRIDAY, we'll be hosting a blog hop where you'll get a chance for our hundreds of readers to read your stories. It's a great way to highlight your farm, farm business, life, crafts, and so much more! And it's a great way to connect with fellow farmers and farm lovers, big and small!
Here's how it works:
WE START FRIDAY NOVEMBER 4th!
~Write a regular post on your blog by FRIDAY MORNING (noon, latest, please) of the Farmhouse Festival, then email us with the link of the particular post you'd like to include on the blog hop.
OUR EMAIL: therenegadefarmer@gmail.com
~**THE post for your Farmhouse Festival entry should contain the link back to us: www.therenegadefarmer.com for the day.
~We'll put the links up on ONE big post, with the name of your blog (of course) in the order we receive them.
~Then sit back and enjoy a few good reads. It's a great time to hop the other "Festival attendees!"
A FEW OTHER NOTES:
ANYONE can attend the "Festivities" as long as they keep their topics to ideas of farming, self-sufficiency, farm crafts, etc, etc. You DO NOT have to have tons of acreage to apply. Whether you are a 3rd generation farmer or an urban farmer, or a farm dreamer, we welcome your posts!
YOU DO *NOT* have to write a post each Friday! Jump into the Farm Festival Fridays whenever you desire. You can skip some weeks, or you can jump in when you'd like!
We DO draw the line at any post promoting pesticides/GMOs and any other means that harms the Earth, or people, and promotes heavy corporate farming. Sorry folks, we're talking old-fashioned, good-for-you-farming. You can't call yourselves stewards of the Earth, and then turn around and harm it.
Please keep your posts family friendly. Yes, we are aware that this probably doesn't need to be said but, just in case, you can't say you haven't been warned.
Have Fun! This is a no-pressure situation and a great way to promote your farm love and lifestyle!
REMEMBER: FIRST FARMHOUSE FESTIVAL FRIDAYS STARTS FRIDAY NOVEMBER 4th!!
Hope to hear from you!

ReplyDeleteWhat a good idea to include other farm blogs. Seems like a lot of folks are interested in what happens on a farm. I'll see if my chickens and goats can contribute something about the herb garden for you to read soon. jimlongsgarden.blogspot.com
